From Freddy Lim, vocalist of the metalband Chthonic and then-member of parliament in Taiwan, and Emily Y. Wu, co-founder of Ghost Island Media, this is Metalhead Politics: a podcast on music, politics, and Taiwan.
Launched in 2020, this limited-series marks the first podcast from a Taiwanese lawmaker aimed at an English-speaking audience. Freddy Lim was a two-term legislature, serving from 2016-2024. This podcast examining Taiwan's authoritarianism past continues to offer invaluable insight to Taiwanese identity and its society today. A co-production of Chthonic and Ghost Island Media. A Middag project.
Since 2025 Lim has been Taiwan's Ambassador to Finland.
